THE PRIVILEGE OF BEING ABLE TO HAVE DREAMS, IDEAS AND GOALS COME TO FRUITION, IS THE CORE OF WHAT WE ARE ABLE TO EXPERIENCE BECAUSE OF THE FREEDOMS THAT ARE OURS IN AMERICA.

- Denise Burnett Stewart

Stacy McCall

ServiceMaster by Stratos
President & CEO

Believing in the importance of the “two Cs” – culture and communication – Stacy has developed a strong internal culture at ServiceMaster by Stratos through open communication channels based on core values like integrity, accountability and respect. She strives to achieve a firm balance between being a confident CEO and a true friend to her employees, and she continues to lead Stratos to new heights, through continued growth and the introduction of technological advancements throughout the organization, while servicing venues in Tennessee, Alabama and Mississippi.

Stacy’s professional career began as an engineer with Mobile Oil after graduating from Mississippi State University. With experience in creating repeatable and sustainable processes, the move into a ServiceMaster Clean franchise (and ServiceMaster Building Maintenance) was a natural transition. In the first two years, Stacy exercised her leadership gifts by building a new franchise opportunity in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, which led to serving as vice president of administration and program development. Upon promotion to chief financial officer, Stacy expanded her process-driven leadership before becoming CEO and president in 2009. With a vision and passion for excellence, Stacy led ServiceMaster Building Maintenance toward rebranding, becoming ServiceMaster by Stratos in 2010.

Since 2008, Stacy has served on the ServiceMaster Clean Regional Council, as well as a Southeastern Conference Council Representative on the ServiceMaster Clean National Franchise Council, eventually serving as vice chairman and chairman. After taking majority ownership in the company, Stacy applied for and received the Women’s Business Enterprise Certification from the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council. In 2019, Stratos received the Marion E. Wade Award, the highest honor a ServiceMaster franchise can receive.

Stacy plays an active role in the Memphis business community. She has been recognized as a Memphis Business Journal’s Super Woman in Business and, as the MBJ’s Small Business of the Year. Stacy is a member of the Memphis Business Journal Leadership Trust and is a participant in their Mentoring Monday event. She currently serves as past president of NAWBO Memphis, and sits on the Boy Scouts of America Chickasaw Council and the Le Bonheur National Leadership Council for the hospital. Previously, she served as a commissioner for Memphis City Beautiful and treasurer for Memphis in May International Festival. Furthermore, she and her Stratos team give back together by providing in-kind janitorial services to many of Memphis’ nonprofit organizations and events.

Thoughts on Entrepreneurship:

It’s often said that small businesses are the backbone of America. I believe this to be true, of course, but I like to expand my belief by including the entrepreneurs behind those small businesses. While we live in the land of opportunity, it still takes tremendous courage, determination and grit to run an organization. Entrepreneurs are essential because of the significant economic impact their businesses can spur and the lives that can be changed for the better as a result.
