Mark H. George is an accomplished entrepreneur and philanthropic leader, serving as Chairman of IMC Logistics, the nation’s largest marine drayage provider. Starting with just one truck in 1982, Mark grew IMC Companies into a powerhouse in the intermodal logistics sector, now with over 3,000 employees and truck terminals in every major U.S. ocean port and rail terminal. Recognized for his leadership and vision, Mark was named “Entrepreneur of the Year” by “Collierville Magazine” and is highly respected as a driving force in the intermodal industry.
In addition to his business accomplishments, Mark is committed to service and giving back. Appointed by Governor Bill Lee, he represents West Tennessee as an at-large member of the state’s Board of Regents. He also serves on the board of the American Trucking Association and leads the Intermodal Motor Carriers Conference, while chairing the North American Chassis Pool Cooperative. His commitment to the community extends through his involvement with the Palmer Home for Children.
