Crye-Leike Realtors was established in January 1977 in Memphis, TN by Harold Crye and Dick Leike, becoming the largest firm in Memphis within three years. Regional operations were expanded in 1992 into the Middle Tennessee real estate market (Nashville), becoming the largest firm in Nashville within one year.
In 1993, Crye-Leike reached its first milestone of $1.01 billion in sales volume, but the momentum has since continued at a record pace. In 1998, Crye-Leike surpassed the $2 billion mark over a one-year period at $2.5 billion in sales volume, and just one year later, topped the $3 billion mark at $3.02 billion. Today, Crye-Leike is the 5th largest real estate company in the country, and has offices in Arkansas, Tennessee, Kentucky, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia and Florida.
Dick is also active in the community, he currently serves on the Board of Germantown Education Foundation and has served on the Board of Directors of Habitat for Humanity, Meritan, Walk to Cure Diabetes, and Memphis Shelby County Industrial Development Board, just to name a few.
