Damon Fleming (Dean | Professor of Accounting @University of Memphis, College of Business & Economics)
Dean Fleming, Professor of Accounting, joined the faculty of the Fogelman College of Business and Economics on 1 July 2019. Previously, he spent nearly 13 years on the faculty of the Fowler College of Business at San Diego State University where we was a Professor of Accounting and Ernst & Young Faculty Fellow, including serving as the the William E. Cole Director of the Charles W. Lamden School of Accountancy from 2016-2019. Dean Fleming’s research interest is primarily in psychology-based analysis of decision making in the areas of auditing, ethics, financial reporting, and taxation. Dean Fleming received his Ph.D. from Virginia Tech and his B.S. and M.S. degrees in accounting from San Diego State University. He is also a CFA® charterholder and Certified Management Accountant.
