Ben C. Bryant, a former Executive-in-Residence at the Crews Center for Entrepreneurship at the University of Memphis, assisting with advice, direction and mentoring for the initiatives within the Center. Additionally, at The University of Memphis, Mr. Bryant is a member of the Crews Center for Entrepreneurship Advisory Board, the Management Information Systems Advisory Council, and a former Executive-in-Residence of the FedEx Institute of Technology. He is a former Vice-Chairman of the University of Memphis Board of Visitors and is a past President of the Tiger Athletics Advisory Board. He is a past member of the President’s Research Foundation Board, and in 1999, he was given the university’s Distinguished Alumni Award. In 2010, he received the Tennessee Board of Regents Award for Excellence in Philanthropy and is a chartered member of the University of Memphis athletic Ambassador Club.
He formerly served on the Board of Directors for Monogram Food Solutions. He has served as president of Cook Systems International, president of BCB Investment Group and Chairman and CEO of SCB Computer Technology, Inc.(NASDAQ: SCBI) of which he was a founder of as Seltmann, Cobb & Bryant, Management Consultants in 1976. Mr. Bryant was inducted into the Society of Entrepreneurs in 1999.
Mr. Bryant received BBA in Accounting in 1968 from Memphis State University, and an MS degree in Management Information Systems from the University of Memphis in 1995.
